The refuge hosts many special events throughout the year that are fun for the whole family!

National Wildlife Refuge Week Celebration
Celebrate your National Wildlife Refuge System!  This event is typically held the second full week of October and includes fun wildlife-related tours, talks, and walks.  Check the Events Calendar, when posted, for more details on this fun celebration. 

Christmas Bird Count
Thousands of volunteers across the country take part in this popular citizen science program. Join the efforts at Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge, which hosts two of these counts.  Please call the refuge at (505) 864-4021 for more information and check the Events Calendar.
