Rio Mora National Wildlife Refuge is not currently open to the public.  The refuge does allow environmental education and interpretation tours/activities as long as the participants are accompanied by Service staff and/or one of our on-site partners:  Denver Zoo, New Mexico Highlands University, and Pueblo of Pojoaque staff.

In the future wildlife-dependent opportunities - including wildlife watching and photography, and hunting are proposed to be offered.
