The National Wildlife Refuge System is committed to building partnerships which encourage conservation and preservation of our natural and cultural resources.  Partnerships with the Refuge System bring innovative approaches to solving land management and water disputes in the most environmentally protective manner.  Scientifically-informed and technologically-based stewardship of our public lands, waters, wildlife and special places must be collaborative efforts between the Refuge System, other government agencies, and private organizations if conservation efforts are to succeed.

Pee Dee Refuge accomplishes more by working with partners.  Whether it’s coordinating to plan events, or assisting each other on surveys and studies, our partners help us meet the mission of the refuge.  We work with many partners.  They include other conservation agencies and organizations with common goals and objectives.  Some of our partners include:

  • -Friends of the Pee Dee National Wildlife Refuge
  • -North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission
  • -North Carolina Division of Forest Resources
  • -North Carolina Natural Heritage Program
  • -Anson County 4-H & Cooperative Extension
  • -Anson County Tourism Board
