      Event - Kids Fishing Day

      Saturday, June 1, 2019 - Activities will target youth from ages 3 years old to 15 years old, who have little or no fishing experience. *Novice Anglers* can learn how to cast a rod, identify types of fish and enjoy the experience of fishing (catch and release only). All fishing equipment will be provided for the event, and there will be staff available to assist. But please keep in mind that one adult should accompany each child. Free.       Saturday, August 24, 2019 - Learn about wildlife conservation and recreational opportunities through habitat exploration, children’s crafts, fishing, archery and firearm demonstrations.  The public is invited to take guided hikes, participate in a scavenger hunt, learn tips on birding, wildlife photography and observation, practice fly tying, fishing, see raptors and other live birds, watch working dogs retrieve, participate in archery and firearms demonstrations, and engage in crafts for the younger children.   All this and much more...
