Law Enforcement officers at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge help visitors understand and obey wildlife protections laws. They work closely with state and local government offices to enforce federal and state hunting regulations that protect migratory birds and other game species from illegal take, and they preserve legitimate hunting opportunities.

Questions regarding law enforcement or violations on the refuge should be directed to Doug Briggs, Federal Wildlife Officer, via email at doug_briggs@fws.gov.

To report a wildlife crime call using the FWS TIPs line at 1-844-FWS-TIPS (1-844-397-8477).
