Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge is a proud participant in the Federal Recreation Fee Program. Fees collected at the refuge are used for educational projects and public facility improvements.  We thank you for abiding by the honor system and we pledge to be a good steward of your money.


How to purchase a pass:

1. Daily Occoquan Bay Refuge Passes: Purchase onsite by utilizing the honor system located at the entrance booth.

2. National Annual and Lifetime Passes: Sold online or by mail; click here for more information.

3. Annual Occoquan Bay Refuge and National Passes: Purchase at the offsite Headquarters Office by appointment ONLY. Call 703-490-4979 ext. 2011 in advance to ensure staff and pass availability.
