The National Wildlife Refuge System is committed to building partnerships which encourage conservation and protection of our natural and cultural resources. The Friends of Necedah National Wildlife Refuge plays a vital role to support and enhance the refuge and to foster public use and enjoyment of the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge. This organization is a non-profit citizens group devoted to conservation, restoration and enhancement of natural communities on the refuge and surrounding area. Friends also assist with outreach and environmental education through a variety of special events during the year. Check out the link for more information: http://www.friendsofnnwr.org/index.html
