WINTER SEASON ~
Some closures will be in place beginning in October.  The Bison Range is now open daily, weather and road conditions permitting. 

 


WINTER DRIVE
 
The Bison Range winter season begins on October 1. The Bison Range is open daily from dawn to dusk.  
 
Red Sleep Mountain Drive will be open from October 5 through October 31 (weather permitting).  Prairie Drive is open year-round from dawn to dusk (also weather permitting).

VISITOR CENTER
The Visitor Center is CLOSED beginning October 1 for the winter season. Please deposit the $5 dollar vehicle access fee into the "iron ranger" located by the information kiosk in the parking area.  America the Beautiful and NBR annual passes are accepted year round.


Front Gate Hours 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Please note, with autumn drawing near, gate times will change with day length changes. Please check the sign posted at the front gate for exact times.

THE REFUGE CLOSES TO ALL PUBLIC USE AT NIGHT.
Be a safe and courteous drive and obey all posted signs.
