Blue Ridge Conservancy – Blue Ridge Conservancy is a leader in land conservation efforts, including bogs, in northwest North Carolina. http://blueridgeconservancy.org/ 


Carolina Mountain Land Conservancy – A long-time partner in bog conservation, Carolina Mountain Land Conservancy has played a key role in conserving bogs in Transylvania and Henderson Counties. http://www.carolinamountain.org/

The Nature Conservancy – The Nature Conservancy was key in the establishment of Mountain Bogs National Wildlife Refuge, by donating a conservation easement on land they owned in Ashe County, N.C.
