Volunteer Emblem

Our volunteers are Individuals who want to give back to their communities, parents who want to be good stewards of the land and set a good example for their children, retired people willing to share their wealth of knowledge, concerned citizens of all ages who want to learn more about conservation and who enjoy the outdoors.

The Marin Islands National Wildlife Refuge often needs volunteers to accomplish important tasks such as removing non-native plants, beach clean up, trail maintenance, and conducting rare orchid surveys. If you are interested in helping with any of these activities, please contact Meg Marriott at meg_marriott@fws.gov or (707) 769-4200 ext. 104.
