Volunteers at Litchfield Wetland Management District

Did you know that volunteers perform as much as 20% of the work done at wetland management districts and national wildlife refuges across the country?

We invite you to become one of these very important people and help in whatever capacity you are able within the Litchfield Wetland Management District. Duties of volunteers are flexible, and we will try to match your interests with the district’s work where possible. Examples of volunteer opportunities include biological surveys, clerical tasks, environmental education, general grounds maintenance and habitat restoration activities. Becoming a volunteer is easy. Just call (320-693-2849), email or stop by the district office in Litchfield for information.
