Litchfield Wetland Management District
  • Permits

Our primary recreation activities - hunting, fishing, wildlife viewing, interpretation, environmental education and photography - are generally allowed on all our waterfowl production areas without an additional district permit, unless otherwise posted. Activities for commercial use or financial gain and research require a permit. Removal or disturbance of habitat or wildlife on a waterfowl production area, such as haying, grazing, collecting wood, repairing tile or cleaning out waterways, is restricted without a permit. Please contact the district manager at 320-693-2849 if you have questions about what activities may require a permit or to obtain a permit.
