The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service maintains a law enforcement presence on National Wildlife Refuge lands.

Federal law enforcement officers ensure the safety of the public and the protection of natural resources.  They address illegal activities, including poaching, taking of endangered species, illegal collecting, dumping of trash, illegal operation of all-terrain vehicles, trespassing and more.  Refuge law enforcement officers assist Department Home Land Security agents with national security, smuggling, and illegal immigration issues. 

To report a violation on the Leslie Canyon National Wildlife Refuge: 

  • Monday through Friday (7:30am to 4pm), call 520-364-2104 ext. 103 or 105
  • After hours or on weekends, call 520-732-9668 or 520-368-8205
