Lake Ilo is located 1 mile west of Dunn Center, North Dakota; along Highway 200. The Refuge is open to visitors from sunrise to sunset daily. Please consult the Refuge Map for areas open to public use.

The Refuge Headquarters is on the southeast side of Lake Ilo and is open 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday Through Friday except on federal holidays or when the refuge staff is is working away from the office.
