Ocelot Conservation Day

Ocelot_Conservation_Day

Our annual celebration of the endangered ocelot!

Get ready for all things ocelot!

Discover the plight of these amazing wild cats that share the lower Rio Grande Valley with us, find out what the US Fish and Wildlife Service and our partners are doing for their conservation, and see what role you, as a private concerned citizen, can play to ensure ocelots are here for future generations to enjoy.

The Ocelot Festival kicks off Friday, March 6 with a fundraising dinner hosted by the Friends of Laguna Atascosa and will take place at Sea Turtle Inc. from 7pm – 11pm.

More information is available at SaveTexasOcelots.org

This event will be followed by Friends of Laguna Atascosa: Afternoon with an Ocelot at the Longhorn Cattle Company in San Benito, Tx on Saturday, March 7 from 12pm – 4pm.

This is a free event.
