Migration Update

Spring migration has concluded and many bird species are in the full swing of nesting and brood rearing.  Grassland habitats offer opportunities to observe bobolinks, dickcissels, grasshopper sparrows, eastern and western meadowlarks.  The following is a list of species observed at Lacreek National Wildlife Refuge from May 18 through June 8, 2015.
