Deer Management Plan

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service implemented a deer management plan in 2014 at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge. After extensive public participation and in close coordination with expert partners, this action will ensure public safety, help maintain healthy wildlife habitats and keep the size of the deer herd at a healthy level in and around Tinicum Marsh. The current plan is available below and will be updated periodically.
