Wildlife & Habitat

Abundant wet meadows, shallow water, uplands, mudflats and bulrush marshes provide habitat for a large variety of birds, both migratory and nonmigratory. Large mammals including moose, elk, and mule deer are seen at Grays Lake, as well as smaller non-game species including muskrats and badgers.
