Volunteer with the Education Program!

Kid with Brochure 512x375

Beginning in the fall and lasting throughout the school year, the Grays Harbor NWR Shorebird Education Program will provide in-classroom outreach to local 3rd and 4th grade classrooms. During the spring shorebird migration, the Refuge will conduct a number of field trips to Grays Harbor NWR for classrooms in the program. We will need volunteers to assist with these classroom visits and with the field trips. No prior knowledge of the Refuge is needed, just a willingness to guide students through their own exploration of this incredible ecosystem! We are always interested in hearing from potential new volunteers!
