Grand Bay National Wildlife Refuge regulations are designed to protect and preserve natural, scenic and wildlife values and to enhance public safety and enjoyment of the refuge. The following is a general summary of refuge regulations:

• Keep a respectful and safe distance from wildlife.
• Removal of plants, animals or archaeological material is prohibited.
• Pets must be leashed and under control at all times.
• Hiking is allowed on designated trails only.
• There is no camping at the refuge, however, camping can be found at nearby Shepard State Park in Gautier, MS (call 228-497-2244 or visit their website for more information)
• Refuge trails close at dusk.
• For the safety of both visitors and wildlife, please respect all posted closures.
