Volunteers help Wildlife 512x219

More than 42,000 people volunteer their time and ideas each year to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Whether they work on the land, in a visitor center or with youth, they contribute to the conservation mission that reaches back more than a century. Become a volunteer to contribute your strength on behalf of America’s natural resources.

Florence Lake National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) may have seasonal projects that provide opportunities for volunteers to make a meaningful contribution to the National Wildlife Refuge System. Volunteers at Florence Lake NWR assist with bird counts, invasive species control, and developing educational exhibits or events. If you are interested in volunteering, please call the Long Lake NWR at 701-387-4397 or email longlake@fws.gov.
