Quota Deer Hunt Procedures and Applications


Quota hunts prevent the wildlife population from being over-hunted and stops over-crowding during hunting seasons so participants can have the best possible experience. 



Quota Hunt applications and all payments must be processed online. Read and review the following information regarding all procedures. 

Important Dates:
Application Period: The ENTIRE month of August. 

Drawing and Hunter Notification: September 9, 2021
Quota Gun Deer Hunt – November 13-16, 2021
Quota Muzzleloader Deer Hunt- October 16-20, 2021 
Unclaimed Quota Gun Hunt Permits for Purchase: TBA
Unclaimed Quota Muzzleloader Hunt Permits for Purchase: TBA


All applicants are subject to a $5.00 non-refundable application fee for quota hunts. Successful applicants will be charged an additional $15.00 per permit fee. 

How to Apply for Quota Hunts:

Online Applications
Applications for quota hunts must be done online. Online applications are the quickest and easiest way to apply and provide you with a confirmation number for your records once your application is complete. 

Group Applications
Up to five hunters may apply as a hunt party. When applying online, you will be able to enter the other members of your group during the online application process. 

Please note, submissions of any person’s name more than once for the same Hunt Type will result in disqualification.

Unclaimed Quota Hunt Permits

Unclaimed permits will be available for both the Gun and Muzzleloader Quota Deer Hunts and may now be purchased on a first come first serve basis during the two weeks prior to the scheduled Hunts. Already-purchased permits are NON- transferable nor refundable and will not be part of the Unclaimed Quota Hunt Permit Program. 

Unclaimed permits may only be purchased per user, no group purchases will be allowed. Users must log-in through their own accounts to make their purchase.
