Do you want to combine your love of art and your love of wildlife? Then participate in the annual Junior Duck Stamp Art Competition.

What is the contest?

The Junior Duck Stamp Art Competition is part of a larger conservation education program (curriculum available) for students from kindergarten through high school. Students learn about environmental science and habitat conservation--and gain a greater awareness of the Nation's natural resources--by developing a design for the annual Junior Duck Stamp.

How Can You Participate?

K-12 Idaho students are invited to learn about waterfowl and wetlands and draw a duck, goose or swan to enter the statewide contest. Entries are judged in four categories: grades K-3, grades 4-6, grades 7-9, and grades 10-12.

Not sure how to begin? Here are some pointers about how to draw a duck!

The entry deadline is March 15th every year. Submit entries to the Idaho Junior Duck Stamp Program Coordinator. Check for current coordinator.
