The Friends of Dahomey National Wildlife Refuge, Inc. is a non-profit organization that supports the mission of the refuge. The Friends partner with the refuge to organize interpretive hikes, maintain the butterfly garden, and host environmental education and outreach events. Each year the group has an outreach booth at the Crossties Festival and Octoberfest in Cleveland, MS where they share the work they do and the mission of the refuge. For more information about the Friends of Dahomey NWR, be sure to visit their website and like them on Facebook.

Other Partners:
Ducks Unlimited (DU) partnered with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to increase wintering waterfowl habitat on Dahomey National Wildlife Refuge. DU provided technical assistance and funding on the construction of two impoundments on Well Road in 2001. That created an additional 223 acres of floodable winter habitat for ducks.
