Creedman Coulee National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) is located in north central Montana, 33 miles north of the city of Havre, Montana. From U.S. Highway 2, turn north onto Highway 233 out of Havre for 33 miles.

Most of the land within the refuge boundary, along with all access to the public portions is private land. Persons wishing to access the private land (even to access the public portion) must gain permission from the landowner.

Refuge Hours: The Refuge is open for public use from dusk till dawn, except during hunting season when hunters are allowed reasonable time to access hunting areas when arriving before dawn and when leaving after dusk.

Creedman Coulee NWR is a satellite refuge within the Bowdoin NWR Complex. All questions pertaining to Creedman Coulee NWR can be directed to the management staff located at the Bowdoin NWR Complex office.  Bowdon National Wildlife Refuge Complex Contact Information:
