Law Enforcement Officers at Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge help visitors understand and obey wildlife protection laws. They work closely with state and local government offices to enforce federal and state hunting regulations that protect migratory birds and other game species from illegal take and preserve legitimate hunting opportunities.

Questions regarding Law Enforcement or violations on the refuge should be directed to the Refuge Manager.

To report violations:

  • Call the State of Minnesota's TIP hotline at 1-800-652-9093
  • Call the Federal Wildlife Officer at 612-283-8963
