Some wildlife monitoring activities currently being conducted on the Refuge are: Deer harvest biological data surveys (density dependent data), wood duck banding, secretive marshbirds callback surveys, bat acoustical surveys, waterfowl and waterfowl habitat surveys, moist- soil monitoring and food production surveys.

Crayfish research, Pollinator study, woodcock habitat study, bat, and secretive marshbirds.
