Accommodations are limited, biting insects, ticks, snakes, thick brush and briars are common, so it is recommended that visitors bring drinking water, snacks, sunscreen, insect repellent, wear long pants and site-appropriate foot wear. If you will be traveling any distance off trails or roadways it is highly recommended that you at least bring a compass or better yet a GPS to help you reliably navigate back to your entry point in a timely manner.
