CCP - Wildlife Management Areas

CCP Cover - WMA Draft

The Service has started
the CCP process for Butte Sink,
Willow Creek-Lurline, and
North Central Valley
Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs).
These WMAs include both
Service-owned lands and
private lands that are protected
with conservation easements.

 A CCP is a document that guides the management of our refuges/wildlife management areas for 15 years. Goals, objectives and strategies are identified to help manage and improve habitat quality, visitor experiences, and partnership opportunities. To find out more about the CCP process, and how you can be involved,  click here.
