Annual Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge
Grassland Fair For over six years the Grassland Fair has offered an opportunity for visitors to learn about Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge and the varied wildlife of the semi-desert grasslands during a weekend in November. The Friends of Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge is currently developing a new event that will continue to offer something for everybody including presentations by scientific experts, educational booths representing community, conservation and natural history

National Wildlife Refuge Week Celebration: Celebrate your National Wildlife Refuge System! A week of fun wildlife-related tours, talks and walks. This event is typically held the second full week of October. Check the Events Calendar for details.Christmas Bird Count: From mid-December into January thousands of volunteers across the country take part in this popular citizen-science program! Join the effort at Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge. The 2017 Christmas Bird Count is generally conducted the first week in January. Please call 520-823-4251 Ext. 116 for more information!
