These special regulations help protect resources and visitors at Boyer Chute National Wildlife Refuge. They are your responsibility. For the complete list of regulations, see our regulations brochure.

Wildlife observation from vehicles is encouraged. Vehicles are allowed on public roads and designated parking areas only. The refuge is open from one half hour before sunrise until one half hour after sunset daily.

Anglers are welcome to fish on the Missouri River and the Boyer Chute. State and federal regulations apply. A Nebraska or Iowa fishing license is required. Please see the regulations brochure for more details. Pets are not permitted on the refuge. Trespassing into closed areas is prohibited.
