Become a Friends Member!
The friends of Louisiana Wildlife Refuges is a non-profit organization formed in 1996 to support a wide variety of conservation and education projects at the Southeast Louisiana National Wildlife Refuges Complex.
Our Friends group has secured grants and funding from both private and public sources, for habitat restoration, special events and education projects. They serve as advocates in the local community, sponsor large-scale outreach events, conduct fund-raising activities to support environmental education programs, and help operate and maintain refuge facilities.
More information about the Friends group, or becoming a Friends member can be found at http://www.flwr.org/
