About the Refuge
Listen to the Golden-cheeked Warbler
Due to the difficulty of spotting the small birds in the sometimes thick vegetation, biologists working at the refuge listen for their distinctive calls. These calls were all recorded in central Texas in 2010 by Chris Warren.
