The Mountain-Prairie Region includes the states of Colorado, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming.
The Mountain-Prairie Region Office of Communications team is part of a national community of communications professionals welcoming people into the world of conservation, engaging them in the work of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and inspiring them to enjoy and conserve America’s wildlife and wild places. We build and foster relationships with media, members of Congress, and Tribes to promote conservation and support decision-making. Weaving together science, community, and creativity, we tell conservation stories that reach a broad range of audiences to inspire current and future generations of conservationists.
