An example scenario:

A 2015 pickup truck needs repairs in 2017.

The vehicle is 2 years old, which equals 40% maximum repair limit per job based on replacement cost.

       The replacement cost is $20,000.

       40% * $20,000 = $8,000.

Repairs up to $8,000 are authorized for repair of this vehicle. The Custodial Property Officer makes final determinations on repair limits.
