Pacific Lamprey Policy Five-Year Review and Technical Exchange

The Pacific Lamprey Conservation Agreement Policy Committee 5-Year Review was held on December 5, 2017, in Portland, Oregon at the Oregon Convention Center. As a follow-up to the 2012 Lamprey Summit III, Policy partners gathered to discuss progress on lamprey conservation. The agenda included a report on progress over the past five years and a facilitated discussion on the development of a vision and action plan for the next phase of the Conservation Agreement.

 

On December 6-7, 2017, the Pacific Lamprey Conservation Team and Lamprey Technical Workgroup convened an Information Exchange Technical Workshop Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission headquarters in Portland, Oregon. Experts in the fields of lamprey eDNA, passage, artificial propagation, translocation, and genetics presented their latest research in a casual setting to encourage information sharing across geographic areas.
