Investigations are conducted by independent contractors. The Office of Diversity and Inclusive Workforce Management (ODIWM) will ensure that an impartial and complete factual record is developed.

The investigation must be completed within 180 calendar days from the filing of the complaint. A copy of the report of investigation will be provided to the complainant, along with a notification that, within 30 calendar days of receipt of the report of investigation, the complainant has the right to request a hearing before an EEOC AJ, or he/she may request an immediate final decision from DOI Office of Civil Rights.
