Spring bird migration is in full swing! Join Ranger Debbie Saturday, May 8 from 9:00am - 10:30am when we'll check some of the hot spots on the refuge for birds and learn about Mingo's habitat to support migratory birds.

All skill levels and ages welcome. Participants will meet at the Mingo NWR Visitor Center parking lot, and cars will caravan from there to several spots on Red Mill Drive and Bluff Road. Some walking on flat surfaces and gravel will be involved. Please wear appropriate footwear and plan for the weather. Outdoor toilets are available.
Binoculars are available or bring your own. There is a mask mandate on federal lands that requires wearing a mask when within 6 feet of others. Additional COVID precautions will be in place.
