Closures due to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The Visitor Center and Nature Store is closed until further notice per guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Land access to Three Sisters Springs will be re-opening in a limited capacity on Monday, May 11th, 2020. The refuge will be open for walk-in and bicycle-in visitors by land. Visitors can also come by trolley which begins at the Three Sisters Springs Center. To swim in the springs, you must come by the water via a personalized watercraft or boat.

The Three Sisiters Springs Property will be open from 8:30am-4:30pm. In order to allow for social distancing, some amenities of the refuge will remain closed, including the restrooms, and the pavilion.

Visitors interested in outdoor activities consistent with Governor DeSantis “Safer at Home” order are invited to enjoy the refuge. Federal and state social distancing and gathering guidelines remain in place and should be followed. Groups of more than 10 will not be permitted, and social distancing of six feet is necessary to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The Centers for Disease Control encourages reducing the spread of respiratory illnesses by practicing everyday preventative actions. If you are sick or may have been recently exposed to COVID-19, please stay home. Visitors are encouraged to plan their trips ahead of time with these items in mind. We encourage visitors to use this opportunity to enjoy nature and the refuge in a safe, responsible manner.
