Cameras document ocelot using wildlife crossing

On January 25, 2020, remote cameras captured the first-ever ocelot using one of the eight wildlife crossings that lead into Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. Until now, ocelots were only documented to approach and examine the foreign structures. This new activity suggests that ocelots are beginning to adapt to the wildlife crossings which may result in fewer road fatalities.
