YWAR The Friends of Trempealeau Refuge would like to invite you to kickoff World Migratory Bird Day at Elmaro Vineyard for an incredible presentation by Craig Thompson. Come join us at Elmaro Vineyard Friday, May 10th from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm with his presentation on "Taking Tweety's Temperature- The State of Birds" starting at 6:30 pm. Elmaro Vineyard, N14756 Delaney Road, Trempealeau, WI 54661 (608) 534-6456

Craig Thompson will be presenting “Taking Tweety’s Temperature—The State of Birds”. While some species of birds are doing well, many species are in steep decline across North America. This presentation will provide an overview of the health of North America’s birds, factors influencing bird populations and conservation measures underway across the western hemisphere. The presentation promises to be both informative and fun. We hope you can join us for his presentation at 6:30 pm.

As part of World Migratory Bird Day (WMBD) celebration and in conjunction with Elmaro Vineyards, and Environment for America's (sponsor of WMBD), a special "Bird Day Red" wine is being bottled at this local winery in Trempealeau, WI. Commemorative bottles will be available the night of the special presentation.
