Trail Accessibility Issues

Damage to the surface of the Corn Creek trail system has impacted accessibility.

Trail damage has temporarily impacted accessibility to the Corn Creek trail system. Several inches of exposed gravel have made the trail impassible for users with assisted mobility devices.

The hardening agent used to complete recent repairs of the Corn Creek trails unexpectedly began to fail in early January. The issue has grown from a few isolated patches of loose gravel to complete deterioration of the surface for the most of the trail's length. Maintenance crews have started working to repair short sections, and we expect major repairs to begin this fall.

When trail work is underway, please respect the trail closed signs. Footprints can damage the new trail surface affecting accessibility for everyone. Once the trail has set, it will be reopened for your enjoyment.

We will post updates on our webpage and Facebook with expected repair dates.
