Southwest Louisiana National Wildlife Refuges Are Closed Until Further Notice Due to Forecasted Tropical Weather from Hurricane Harvey


The Southwest Louisiana National Wildlife Refuges including Sabine, Cameron Prairie, and Lacassine are closed, effective immediately. Cameron Prairie NWR Visitor Center, all Refuge offices, and all outdoor recreational facilities will remain closed until tropical weather conditions subside and it is safe to re-open.  The public is asked to stay out of all areas with closed gates.
