YCC is a well-balanced work-learn-earn program that develops an understanding and appreciation in participating youth of the Nation’s environment and heritage. YCC offers gainful summer employment to youth in a healthful outdoor atmosphere.

Are you a young man or woman age 15 to 18? Do you have a love for the outdoors? Are you interested in exploring a career in conservation and wildlife management? Then the Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) is for you!

Summer Job Opportunity

Applicants are not eligible if they turn 19 prior to the end of the program and must be 15 by the starting date.

Projects include but are not limited to:

  • Nature trail construction and maintenance
  • Building, sign and grounds maintenance
  • Observation deck and boardwalk maintenance

This eight week program pays minimum wage and will start on June 10, 2019 and end on August 2, 2019. Up to eight (8) applicants will be selected for these positions.
