Visitor Center Closed; Auto Tour, Trails and other Public Use Sites Remain Open to Visitors

As a public health precaution the refuge visitor center is closed for the safety of staff, volunteers and visitors. The refuge trails, auto tour and other public use areas will remain open to visitors during this time but outdoor facilities, including pit toilets, will be minimally maintained so please be prepared by bringing hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and toilet paper with you during your visits. Updates will be posted to the refuge website, www.fws.gov/refuge/horicon/ as necessary. Please call 920-387-2658 or email horicon@fws.gov with any questions about facilities or scheduled events during this time and staff will be in touch. In the meantime, enjoy nature while practicing your social distancing and stay safe! *Please note that our partners, Marsh Haven Nature Center and the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center (WDNR) are also closed but trails remain open to visitors.
