Leadbetter Point Christmas Bird Count

Participate in the longest-running citizen science project in the U.S. - the Christmas Bird Count.

Bird enthusiasts of all interests and levels are invited to participate in the count, which includes a portion of Willapa National Wildlife Refuge. There are a variety of starting locations, each facilitated by a group leader. Contact the coordinator to be assigned to a team. If you live on the northern portion of the the Long Beach Peninsula or Bay Center you may be able to submit your feeder count.

Counters will gather at the Hunters Inn in Naselle at 5 pm for dinner and to compile their totals. Participants are responsible for purchasing their meal.
