Auto Tour Reopens

The popular auto trail through the Edwards Waterfowl Production Area east of Morris has re-opened as of Tuesday, July 1st, 2014 after being closed for repairs due to recent storm damage.

The auto trail begins three miles east of Morris on County Road 10. It is a graveled trail where people can drive and see different types of wildlife habitat and examples of various wildlife management practices used by the Fish and Wildlife Service on waterfowl production areas throughout western Minnesota. The auto trail also provides a good opportunity for wildlife viewing. The trail is open daily from sunrise to sunset from now until the opening of the pheasant hunting season.
