BioBlitz Festival 2015

June 12th-13th, 2015BB14 Petting Fish Engle 150x118

Join us to discover what lives at the Refuge and celebrate the diversity of life in Idaho.

Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge will host family-friendly activities at the only BioBlitz in Idaho. On Friday, naturalists and citizen scientists (including kids and families!) will catalog as many species of living things as possible. On Saturday, the focus will be on celebrating biodiversity at the BioBlitz Festival from 10 AM to 3 PM. Activities and displays will include live birds of prey, exhibits from wildlife-related organizations throughout the state of Idaho and kids crafts and activities.

See below for a more detailed event schedule.

After attending the BioBlitz, consider heading over to Kids' Fishing Day at Gotts Point!
