Volunteer

Volunteer EmblemWHO ARE OUR VOLUNTEERS?

Our volunteers are individuals who want to give back to their communities, parents who want to be good stewards of the land and set good examples for their children, retired people willing to share their wealth of knowledge, concerned citizens of all ages who want to learn more about conservation and who enjoy the outdoors.

The Antioch Dunes National Wildlife Refuge often need volunteers to accomplish important tasks such as removing non-native plants, trash clean up, and conducting surveys for endangered plants and butterfly. If you are interested in helping with any of these activities, please contact Louis Terrazas, Wildlife Refuge Specialist at louis_terrazas@fws.gov or (707) 769-4200 ext. 105.
