2011 Career Discovery Internship Program

Dinah Wong

My name is Dinah Wong. I am a rising senior at Penn State University and am working toward an Environmental Resource Management degree. I chose to work in conservation because I wanted to work for a cause that could benefit the world. Being an urbanite my entire life greatly affected this decision because I noticed early during my childhood the lack of regard for the environment. My goal in life is to educate and inspire people, especially people from the city, to love, nurture and appreciate their environment. Participating in the Career Development Internship Program is helping me move one step closer toward this goal. I am hoping to leave this internship with the skills appropriate for pursuing this goal.
